Based on the beloved 2006 Disney film, this high-energy production, directed by Miss Kayla Dye follows the journey of Troy Bolton (Luke Sulaica), a star basketball player, and Gabriella Montez (Jaylnn Casteel), a bright new student, as they step out of their comfort zones and into the spotlight.
Troy and Gabriella’s unexpected musical talents are first discovered when they sing together at a karaoke competition while on vacation. Back at school, their budding connection and decision to audition for the spring musical spark jealousy from the school’s reigning star, Sharpay Evans (Ella Pfefferle), and concern from their respective friend groups. As the students navigate high school pressures and expectations, they ultimately learn the importance of being true to themselves.
