The Anthony Wayne High School staff and student body held a send-off parade for the state-qualifying boys cross country team. The team claimed the regional championship to qualify to compete at the OHSAA State Tournament on November 2.
Congratulations and best of luck to senior Ryan Shelton, juniors Joshua Bighouse, Ben Gasiorski, Arjun Jayaraman, Jacob Proctor and freshman Lincoln Schaffner. Also joining the team as alternate runners are Griffin Greer (junior) and Sam Brose (sophomore).
The Generals are coached by Kevin O'Connor and Craig Smith.
