AWHS Career Fair
March 5: The Anthony Wayne Regional Chamber of Commerce is seeking business representatives for the AWHS Career Fair.

AWJH Competition Cheer Clinic (Grades 4-7)
March 14-15: Learn basic motion, stunt and jump techniques at this two-day clinic presented by the AW Junior High Cheer Team and Coach.

Annual Booster Bash
March 15: At the Stables from 6:30-10:30 p.m. All proceeds benefit the AW Athletic Department.

Whitehouse Primary 5K & 1K Kids Fun Run
April 12: Lace up and run or walk to support Whitehouse Primary School. Awards for top finishers, and a fun race for everyone!

Winter Read 2025
Register and complete reading challenges to be eligible to earn and win prizes.

Family Ties Parent Support Group
Presented by the Lucas County Board of Developmental Disabilities, these parent-led meetings will focus on different topics and guest speakers from community agencies.

No School Day Camps
Snapology and Urban Air offer STEAM-based day camps when school is not in session. AWLS families receive a $10 discount.

Ohio BASS Fishing Club (Grades 9-12)
Students interested in competitive fishing events are encouraged to join a community club for eligibility to compete at the state level.

Scouting America - Troop 9615 (Girls Grades 5-12)
Troop meets Monday nights at Lucas County Fairgrounds

JAM: Jesus and Me (all ages)
2nd Thursday of the Month at Waterville Methodist Church

Toledo Zoo Offerings for Families
Day camps, overnights, story time, tours and special events offered by the Toledo Zoo.

Academic Enrichment

Sprout Studios Classes
Sprout Studios offers Montessori-based playgroups, yoga, and homeschool opportunities for families of young children.

4th Grade History Pass
Ohio 4th grade students can receive free admission to visit participating history museums and historic sites free of charge, with a paid adult admission through Aug. 2025.

July 21-25: The BGSU School of Art is hosting a variety of workshops for students interested in art. Registration closes April 15.

RiverFront Studios: Art Lessons
RiverFront Studios offers a range of art workshops for kids of all ages and adults, exploring a variety of creative mediums. Located in Historic Downtown Waterville.

RiverFront Studios: Music Lessons
Music lessons for kids as well as adults, with programs including piano, guitar, violin/viola, voice, woodwind instruments, and music foundations classes. Located in Historic Downtown Waterville.

The AWHS volleyball team is hosting summer camps for students interested in learning game fundamentals. Registration is open now - camps begin in July.

Youth Volleyball (Grades 3-6)
Registration closes February 24: Season runs March 3 - May 3 - Bowling Green Parks and Recreation is hosting a youth volleyball league, with registration ending February 24.

Student Employment & Volunteer Opportunities

Metroparks Toledo Camp Counselor Training Program (Ages 13 - 18)
Volunteers are needed to serve as counselors during summer programs offered by Metroparks Toledo. Application closes Feb. 28.
