Red Cross Blood Drive
December 4: The need for blood is very high. Please consider donating in this drive at the Whitehouse American Legion sponsored by AW Junior High.
AW Junior High Musical: Willy Wonka Jr.
December 6-7: Enter a world of pure imagination as you go on an adventure with the world's most famous chocolatier!
Breakfast with Santa
December 7: Enjoy pancakes, eggs, sausage and a visit with Santa! Hosted by the AWHS Softball team.
AW Hockey: Be a General
Youth hockey players are invited to Be a General and participate in warmups, be announced with the team and more with the AW Generals hockey team.

Family Game Night
November 21: The Lucas County Board of Developmental Disabilities is hosting a family fun night with free cards, board games and refreshments.
Penta Career Night
December 2: Learn about the 30 career-technical education programs offered at Penta Career Center.
Snowy Social (Age 6 and under)
December 10: The Lucas County Board of Developmental Disabilities is hosting a sensory friendly afternoon of crafts, costumed characters, Santa and snacks. Event is free, but registration is required.

ACTIVITIES
Family Ties Parent Support Group
Presented by the Lucas County Board of Developmental Disabilities, these parent-led meetings will focus on different topics and guest speakers from community agencies.
No School Day Camps
Snapology and Urban Air offer STEAM-based day camps when school is not in session. AWLS families receive a $10 discount.
Ohio BASS Fishing Club (Grades 9-12)
Students interested in competitive fishing events are encouraged to join a community club for eligibility to compete at the state level.
Crafts and More at Whitehouse Library
Every Wednesday: Bring a craft to work on in the company of others, or play a game with a neighbor.
Scouting America - Troop 9615 (Girls Grades 5-12)
Troop meets Monday nights at Lucas County Fairgrounds
Educational Offers
4th Grade History Pass
Ohio 4th grade students can receive free admission to visit participating history museums and historic sites free of charge, with a paid adult admission through Aug. 2025.
