• Mini Majorette Clinic & Halftime Performance
  Learn from the AWHS Majorettes at an evening clinic on October 20, then put your new skills on display as you perform your routine under the lights during halftime on October 23.
• Districtwide Food Drive
  November 16-20: AWLS is partnering with Neighborhood Bridges to host a district-wide food drive supporting local families in need. Donation boxes are available in each school. Please see wishlist for needed items.
• Soles4Souls Shoe Drive
  AWHS Rotary Interact Club is collecting new and gently used shoes through the end of the year to create opportunities for entrepreneurs in low-income countries to start and sustain a small business.
• AW Bands Friends & Patrons Drive
  “Friends and Patrons” are the individuals and businesses who choose to make a financial contribution to the instrumental music program at AWLS in return for being listed in all band concert programs and the fall sports program. See flyer for details.

• Haunted Waterville Tours
  September 12 - October 31: Join the Waterville, Ohio Historical Society to hear tales of local hauntings, old and new. Bring your friends - groups of 20 get a private trolley and 10% discount.
• Tales from the Glass City
  April 10: Pages of Glass invites families to a book convention featuring 30+ authors and vendors for kids and their parents at The Mez in Toledo, OH. Admission is free for kids under 18, $10 for all others.
• Red Cross Blood Drive
  November 11: Give the gift of hope by donating blood during the Monclova Township Driving for our Heroes drive. Register online using the link or call 1-800-733-2767.
• Friends of Camp Palmer 4K Race
  November 14: Enjoy the fall foliage Northwest Ohio as you run, jog, or walk around Camp Palmer. After the race, participants can enjoy camp activities. Proceeds benefit Camp Palmer and 4H activities.

• University of Toledo Math Circle (Grades 9-12)
  Sept. 8-Dec. 8: Do you love math? This is your chance to work on fascinating and tricky math problems and grow your problem-solving skills with professors who have competed in the International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO).

  A wide variety of music lessons for kids and adults. Programs include piano, guitar, violin/viola, voice, woodwind instruments, and music foundations classes for ages 5-6.
