November Board of Education Meeting Changed

The regular meeting of the Anthony Wayne Local Schools Board of Education has been postponed from its original date of November 7 to 6:00 p.m. to Monday, Nov. 18. The meeting will be live streamed for those who cannot attend in person.

Pay-to-Participate Guidelines for Parents and Students

The Anthony Wayne Local Schools Board of Education has adopted a Pay-to-Participate policy for the District’s athletics programs. The following fee structure for participating in athletic programs at Anthony Wayne Junior High and Anthony Wayne High School begins with the 2024-2025 school year.

Fee Structure

Anthony Wayne High School Cost Per Student-Athlete

First Sport	$150.00
Second Sport	$125.00
Third Sport	No additional cost

Anthony Wayne Junior High Cost Per Student-Athlete

First Sport	$80.00
Second Sport	$80.00
Third Sport	No additional cost

Payment Information

Families with multiple students in AW athletics programs will have fees waived for any additional sport exceeding a $450 per year cap. (Limited to immediate family members within the same household.)

All fees must be paid before your child’s first game or match, but please please do not pay your fees until your child has officially made the team.

Fees are not refundable. Athletes who quit, are injured, move out of District or who are denied participation for disciplinary reasons will not be reimbursed.

Make a Payment

Fees can be paid electronically through FinalForms or cash/check (payable to Anthony Wayne Schools) delivered to Tiffany Tully in the AWHS Athletics Office for high school athletes, and the AWJH Main Office for junior high athletes. Do not pay your participation fee directly to your child’s coach.

Fall Sports: Payments accepted starting August 1, 2024

Winter Sports: Payments accepted starting November 1, 2024

Spring Sports: Payments accepted starting March 1, 2025

Program Details

Pay-to-Participate Exceptions:

Cheer: Only one pay-to-participate fee is required for athletes who cheer both in the fall and winter seasons. This payment is due before the first football game.
Swim and Dive: There is no paid coach position for this program and no school transportation provided, therefore there are no pay-to-participate fees.

Important Note: The pay-to-participate program does not guarantee playing time.
